2. Local Data Storage

The App relies on your local device to function:

* The App uses local device storage (specifically SQLite database and SharedPreferences) to store your settings, selected languages, bookmarked/favorite shlokas, and your Mala Jap progress.

* All of this data remains stored exclusively on your physical device. We do not have access to this data, nor do we transfer it to our own remote servers.

* Clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App will permanently delete this locally stored information.


3. Third-Party Services & Links

Except for the Google AdMob and Firebase services listed in Section 1, the App does not use other third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or social media integrations that track user activity.

If you choose to use the "Contact Us" or "Share" features:

* Clicking these options will open standard system dialogs on your device (e.g., your default email client or sharing sheet).

* Any information you send via email is handled by your email provider. We will only use your email address to respond to your specific query and will never share it or use it for marketing.


4. Children's Privacy

Our App is intended for a general audience. Because third-party services (like Google AdMob and Firebase) are integrated, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Google Play Console target audience policies. If this app is targeted at children under the age of 13, please note that third-party SDKs must be configured to restrict data collection (e.g., serving non-personalized ads and enabling child-directed settings).

We are committed to securing your data. Since all app settings, bookmarks, and Mala Jap progress are stored locally on your device, their security depends on the security of your device itself. We recommend securing your device with a PIN, pattern, password, or biometric lock.
